What’s kickin,’ chicken?

I just returned to NYC from playing Claudia in Short North Stages production of NINE.  Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I grew up with a love of singing, dressing up, and making people smile. My love of theatre started in Middle school as the Teen Angel in Grease Jr, and this beauty school dropout has been hooked every since.

I received my BFA from Seton Hill University and have worked around the country in a variety of stage productions, and films. From musicals to dramas, comedies, and Shakespeare, I love to do it all.  Performing is important to me because it is the way that I am able to express myself, communicate ideas, explore human truths, and embrace emotions by portraying other characters.  As a performer, I have a special job because I am the medium that relays the overall message of a production to the audience.  I can help others learn, recall memories, and discover the deepest truths about themselves.

I can always be found at a local coffee shop, watching SNL, baking homemade cinnamon rolls, having a martini (dirty), and snuggling my cat Sesame.
